Stress is a combination of three things; (1) a potential stressor, (2) what your mind tells you about your ability to cope with it, and (3) a stress response that kicks in if you feel unable to cope with it. People often have a hard time dealing with stress because they don’t attack all three of its parts. Effective stress management programs deal with all three.
